By · CommentsPlanets are related to one another in five ways. Adhimitra (most intimate friendship), Mitra (friend), Neutral, Enemy, Adhishatru (most bitter enmity). A planet occupying the sign of its friend gives good results but when placed in the sign of its enemy, it is incapable of giving full results.
Sun treats Moon as adhimitra, Mercury as friend, Mars and Jupiter as neutral, Venus as enemy and Saturn as bitter enemy. How Sun and other planets treat one another is indicated in the table on page 50.
